Hi All.
Had a great day out today with Mark L at LHR. Alot of decent aircraft came in as well as more BA and BMi stuff that i wish to count! 😡 way too much.
Had the pleasure of also meeting Matthew Willmott Sharp too, one of the main Aircraft Photographer guys on the net. Also bumped into LN Strike Eagle (Dan) too. A pleasure to meet you all. 🙂
Heres a few pics of what we saw. Excuse the quality on some of them.
1. F-OGQQ Aeroflot A310 on finals for 27R.
2. On the “biz-apron” – N7600K (BBJ) And a Saudi 727 (HZ-OCV).
3. 6Y-JMP seconds from touchdown.
4. HB-IMJ Gulfstream.
5. PH-RXB – Bonair 145 operating for Luxair.

Great Pics there A330Crazy, I really like the Jordanian A340 and especially the Swiss Gulfstream. I am looking to get down to Heathrow on Monday (Day Off Wahay) as the weather looks rather good, 23 degrees, sun and some cloud, perfect.

That OS MD is OE-LMK (you can read it off the underside of the wing). It’s one of the last MD’s OS still have, and they’re due to phase them out in the next month or two, too.
Nonetheless, LMK seemed to be stalking me on my trip home the other week…
It Taxied past me at ZRH during my one hour wait for startup clearance whilst sitting inside BACX ERJ145 G-EMBO, and then it was parked at the Gate beside me when I boarded LX A320 HB-IJN for the flight back to BSL from LHR…

Great shots Andy! Nice to see the Egyptair 777, and the new titles on that Varig. It turns out I got a picture almost exactly the same of the Aeroflot A310, from the exact same position when I was last up LHR!

Great photos Andrew. I can’t believe I didn’t meet up with any of y’all each of the last 3 years I’ve been in London for at least a day or 2. 🙁 Too bad OS wasn’t sending that MD80 in 2001 when I flew them LHR-VIE and back. Both flights were an A321.
