Well after Dan and I ventured up to LHR at 4am last week only to find them using the wrong runway combo we decided we’d try again at the weekend. The wonderful BBC predicted clear skies all morning so it was another early start, the right runway combo in use…but overcast cloud all morning 😡
Nevertheless we both got several nice shots, Dan of course one or two more than me 😉

After moving to the Touch Down Zone we narrowly missed photographing a Kenyan 777 go around, and a Saudi 747SP touching down. To compensate though Asiana decided to send their newest 777 in place of the far more usual 747:

Next came the once daily Air India 777:
