Heathrow Pics – 08/09/05

I took myself down to heathrow yesterday for the first time.

I followed advice from members on here as to where to go – first i went to the field on the southern perimeter road, but viewing was practically useless because 27L was takeoffs and 27 R was landing. So, i walked to the other runway, through the maintenance area, and found a spot amoungst the runway approach lights for runway 23. I was ‘hidden’ from the attention of the police by a bush and a couple of road signs.

At 3 pm i moved back to the field on the southern perimeter road where i stayed for the rest of the day.

As i said this is the first time i have ever done anything like this, so don’t expect the same type of quality that i see from other members.
