Great ! You made it down there then. Excellent.
Yes thanks mate. It was a totally unexpected trip. What a day! We arrived at 10am, and left at around 6.30. Twenty years ago since I’d been there. Little Bro was gobsmacked, it was him that wanted to stay so long. He desperately wanted to see an A380 close up, and they don’t get much closer than when they’re skimming the rooftops of dear ‘ol Myrtle Ave. In the end, we were both treated to 3 of them, and I got to see my Egyptair 777:) It did make me realise how much I still miss working in the industry, but hey, it was a great day out….trouble is, he wants to go again! How will I cope?

Not into civil planes but I thought I’d have a look and I actually enjoyed the pictures. Thanks for posting. I may have to look again sometime.

Some brilliant shots, especially that Jordanian 330. Last week courtesy of my younger brother, I enjoyed best part of the day at Myrtle Avenue. First visit in 20 years for me, it was fantastic. I’ll never forget the sight of an approaching SIA A380 filling the sky, whilst skimming the rooftops of the houses, just awesome!
