heinkel 111 crash in the medway estuary

could anyone provide any information regarding a heinkel 111 which came down in the river medway in kent, roughly opposite where kingsnorth power station is situated now, would like to now if possible, how it came down, the unit and where it was based, i have seen evidence of this as there is still an engine which belongs to medway military research group.:confused:

A “twin engined” bomber came down a mile or so Southwest of Southend pier on Monday 3rd February 1941, however it being a mile from the pier would put it slap bang in the middle of the deep water channel so the chances of it being this one are slim as the recovery of an engine would be more or less imposible.

The number of aircraft that came down in the Thames Estuary is quite high from Spitfires & Hurricane to Bf109,s to 110’s and He111’s even a Boston or two!
