Helicopters in Iraq

In the last issue of Airforces Monthly (the one with the F-15’s on the cover) there is a small piece about Poland that states that it is sending 8 Sokol helicopters and 6 Mi8. Since Poland is supposed to take over one of the sectors, does anyone know:

1) what type of modifications the helicopters had to undergo

2) what functions will they serve, will they be armed

3) how reliable are these helicopters (the Sokol…in general and an environment like Iraq)

4) does anyone have any pictures of the machines that were sent to Iraq
