dark light

Hello?

Hello guys and gals this is Dog House Ldr., and I am new to the forum. I am from Ft. Worth, Texas and I enjoy aviation history. I live a short distance from NAS Ft. Worth JRB which used to be the old Carswell AFB, which some of you know that Strategic Air Command was filmed there.

There is a grassroots movement to build a museum there to house the B-36J that we restored a few years back. I look forward to being on your forum and I am fairly Knowledgable on most WWII aircraft. 🙂

Hi Doghouse Leader

This is dog house resident (Setter = dog get it?)

Welcome aboard from Brisbane Australia AKA centre of the known universe and a lot of warbirds live here with more arriving all the time.

I just need to warn you that this and the WIX forum are FDA classafied as addictive and the surgeon General reccomends adult supervision.

Kindest regards
John (Setter) Parker

Welcome DHL, You’ll enjoy it on this forum. They’re a good bunch and if you have any questions regarding historical aviation you’ll be almost certain to get an answer from them. Not saying it’ll be sensible but you’ll get an answer, maybe more than one and if you are really lucky one of them may actually tell you what you wanted to know.

Welcome to the forums Dog House Ldr 🙂

(Snapper…can you afford the air fare after your recent win on ebay? 😉 Still I guess we could charter one of the Classic Wings Rapides and hop over the Atlantic :D)

Welcome Dog House Leader. It’s a great place to hang out. Just keep an eye on your wallet. Some of these guys will pick you clean if you don’t watch it 🙂

Welcome Dog House Ldr.! Its always nice to welcome a new member. For me, joining this forum was one of the best things I’ve done this year. If you want to learn a lot about historical aircraft, this is the place to be. So your knowledge can even grow! I hope you will enjoy it here as much as I (and many other users) do. 🙂

Greets,

J.V.

cool john, nice to know Ihave someone on this side of the atlantic that enjoys historical aircraft as much as me!

Very tactful DogHouse 🙂 . And welcome.

Looks like Snapper will have to default to his original plan of setting up home for his expanding family in Mr Patterson’s garden shed.

If you go to DFW…I’ll get you on Dyess and show you the neat stuff.
You can even go into the perfect C-130A….and if you’re lucky, the B-47!!

You’d best ask Becka along too. She won’t want to miss out, especially if you get the Shiraz in.
