Just wanted to say hello to everybody on this forum and I look forward to some interesting discussions.
I had some trouble finding an avatar could some one direct me, I’m hopelesss with computers.
I am sepecifically interested in historic aviation.

Says the eyeties. I’m deaf today. I got subjected by a tuneful barrage of Buzzcocks last night. Straight into 6 songs, without a break, at full volume. Followed by another 6 30 seconds later, etc.
“Have you ever heard your mother say noise annoys”. (No – I was listening to the Buzzcocks at the time).

Go out and have fun. Try not to start too many fights, keep away from anyone claiming to wield a sword, try not to get involved with any flame wars that might break out until you have developed a thick hide, and don’t say anything derogatory about any other nationality whatsoever unless you enjoy being flame-grilled over a pit of burning venom. Otherwise its cool.
Not everyone has an avatar – it took me a while to find one that I figured would be worthwhile – so probably best to find a picture that you like and then do a search on the site for avatar and see what the advice was then.
And before you ask – the words beneath your Id is known as a Custom User Text:rolleyes: and you probably cannot change this until you have made 100 (I think) posts.
