Hello.
I’ve just recently sold a 1/500 die cast model. Yesterday to be precise. Now, I have received payment by Paypal, and I now need to withdraw this into my bank account.
However, it says that my bank acount is unconfirmed. When I went to confirm it, they say I need to deposit an amount of money, so I put in £0.12. But it then tells me that the amount is incorrect.
What do I do? I need to find a way to confirm my account, so I can send the item out.
Help will be much appreciated.
Thank you.

I agree with you there, hope N808NW is on the same page as well! (Why do you think he thinks he is an Airbus 330-323?
lol. N808NW IMO just looks brilliant, that’s why. 🙂
I can see the problem now. Thank you very much Newforest/Ren Frew. 🙂

It’s paypal that makes two small deposits in your account, not the other way round.
You then need to enter those amounts into the verification process on “your account” to prove it’s your bank account.

Not sure about the cancellation process you have caused unless Paypal paid you without verification and then took the money back.
The ‘Answers’ page in the Community section on e-bay are very useful for all problems.

Please enter these amounts exactly as they appear on your bank statement
The above is what seems to be the problem. What does it mean?
If the amounts were £0.04 and £0.07, these would be the amounts they require to be confirmed. The Paypal instructions are usually pretty clear on these things. Of course you probably haven’t got a bank statement yet with these amounts, unless you have an electronic account. 🙂

When I opened my account, I had to put two amounts in, this took a few days to reach the bank account, then you advise Paypal what those figures are and your account is confirmed! 🙂
