Hi Guys,
I wonder if anyone has any info on a rear gunner [we think] killed in a Halifax bomber .
His name is Roy Horace Wells and he was on 35 squadron flying Halifaxes from Gravely.Apparently he had done or was close to finishing his tour and volunteered to fly with another crew possibly Canadian when he was lost on a raid. This was 1942 /3 .
I think this is him http://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/2046823/WELLS,%20ROY%20HORACE
I wondered if anyone could fill in any gaps please,
Much appreciated 🙂

I am in the process of piecing together a history of 35 squadron and I have just stumbled across this thread; are you still looking for information as I have details on RH Wells’ sorties with the squadron.
