I am pretty certain it will be an A320. The 733s are always in use with KM on their own routes and there are two spare 320s currently based at MAN but are used at other airports around the UK.

Further “digging” has revealed it’s flight KM4404, just need to check aircraft type now….

So, James villas tells me it’s Air Malta, BHX website tells me it’s Excel but the Excel Website doesn’t let me book that far in advance for the ACE flight.
Im now even more

Now even more
Just checked out the BHX web site and the flight times given match exactly with flight XLA3044 planned for summer 2004

It is likely to be an A320.
By: cheesebag - 20th February 2004 at 20:24
So it looks like it’s going to be a 737 or A320 type of aircraft?
By: green320 - 20th February 2004 at 20:23
That was operating for Azzura Air as their winter schedule isn’t finished and when that has finished, there is no more Azzura Air. That Air Malta flight to Arecife will be an ad-hoc flight on behalf of another charter airline.

There was an Air Malta flight to Tenerife from MAN today when I was there.

Just checking my BHX summer 2003 guide,
Air Malta only flew to MLA, Azzurra air flew to JSI, BRS, NAP and CFU

9H-AED and 9H-AEF are the ones that have been operating out of MAN. They are in a very boring white livery at the moment with a red Maltese Cross on the tail.

Which have they leased????
By: green320 - 20th February 2004 at 19:18
Air Malta have leased two aircraft to Azzura Air to complete the Azzura schedule so they could be doing an ad-hoc flight for another airline.

Looking at the Air Malta website, it does not even appear that they fly to Arrecife?
