Help in identifying Luftwaffe DKiG holder killed in Ju 88 crash.

This is a request I am forwarding for a colleague on another forum. His family are in possesion of a pretty beat up German Cross in Gold (DKiG) that was found in 1972 at the crash site of a Junkers Ju88a in the hills of Wiesbaden, Germany.

Unfortunately they have no information as to the date or exact location of the crash site. I was hoping that some of the knowledgable bod’s here may be able to help with a possible I.D. of the recipient or even the crew. This is all the info that is available, I believe it may have been gleaned from an airframe plate.

Junkers Ju88a with 211f engines.

Serial no. 9-610930.

Werk Nummer. 1509.

Lost in the hills of/near Wiesbaden,Germany, date unknown.
