Help me ID this Leg?

I am in Hunagry and found this leg at a flea market. Has numbers stamped on her but they are poor but ends with ASSY so has to be British ofrAmerican. However I can be wrong. Can anyone help me?

Either that car boot is HUGE or it’s from a 1/10th scale Stirling….

:p I know exactly how big the Stirling leg is cos I have moved them around the hangar in Wyton loads of times. I am not sure if the leg can be split for servicing, thats why I said it ‘could’ be.

Hi,

It looks to me like it’s the lower half of a Stirling main U/C oleo.

U/C leg

Hi
Can you make the ID numbers clearer by using magnifier and moving the light source around — that sometimes helps to highlight ‘iffy’ numbers!!
