Surely a tristar rating would be most appropriate ?

what cold cretin gave this thread a one star rating?

My pay pal payment is winging it’s way to you. 😀
Not as much as I would like, but haven’t seen overtime for months and with an impending change of address coming up, I’m a little “pink lint” at the mo. More to follow later.

NB, everyone that has pledged will recieve a certificate and have their name on the aircraft ie a roll of honour located on a bulkhead inside for ever!!

Yeah Ren ,he is a bit of a Trident fan and more than happy to assist in any way possible.he lives in the US and will visit Manchester in the very near future.

Funny you should say that Ren,the MD of gemini jets made a large donation to our cause and is considering a Trident for the range.
Yeah I was wondering as they’ve had the link to your campaign on the homepage for ages now.

Okay, so how much do you think is an acceptable donation? How much did you donate yourself?
Though it is none of your business what I have donated and I really do not need to justify my original comments I will say that I am donating my Design skills.
To be precise, I am creating drawings of the Trident, for display purposes.
However, do not feel yourself pressurised Michael. No one wants to take money from someone just because they are bowing to peer pressure. I just wanted to say I thought your comments were not exactly, well for want of a better word “Charitable”. Akin to saying, “I won’t donate blood as I don’t see what I get out of it”.

That is great news, I will sure buy that model if it is released. 🙂

That would be a fantastic idea, and one im sure alot of people would be happy to purchase.

It would be nice if Gemini jets or Aero Classics could release a commerative/fundraising model of G-AWZK. I’m sure that would help to boost the coffers a bit ?

Does it really matter how much people have donated???
I think so, yes.
By: TRIDENT MAN - 17th August 2004 at 12:48
Does it really matter how much people have donated??? every penny helps whether its a large donation or a small one i myself HAVE DONATED OVER A HUNDRED POUNDS!!
By: LBARULES - 17th August 2004 at 12:46
I wouldnt care where it was in the world, Manchester or Timbuktu, I would much rather see it be preserved rather than scrapped, and if others can enjoy it all the better.

C’mon now Micheal are you suggesting you only indulge in your hobby at London Airport ? I’ve seen you travel all over the place to see planes. MAN’s hardly hard to get to from your neck of the woods is it ? 😀
Everyone clearly feels so strongly about my comments, but nobody seems to be revealing how much they have donated towards the project… or if they have even bothered to donate themselves.
Am I the only one who hasn’t donated and is happy to admit it?
