shamrock not a problem re being shown around pm me to arrange. Will you have time to fit in for Spotting at Belfast City lol as its less than 2m from the biggest tourist attractions!
Spotting at belfast is quite hard without a car. Some good new areas have been found but best i can say really would be if you use Viewing Gallery or walk out of the airport and follow Signs for M2/Belfast. Once you leave the Airport immediate area you will pass large security cameras on either side of the road. Keep walking (walk along RHS of road) and you will come to a ROAD CLOSED barrier. You can freely walk up this and spot as they fly over your head. There is also a small restaurant visible from the barrier further down the road.
If you are departing on the 1955 i can come up to BFS around mmm 1400 for a few hours and take you to my special place 😉 lol . It has VERY VERY VERY good views over the Runway 25 threshold!

On the main road to the airport there are some good hard shoulders you can stop at and watch arrivals on 25 which is the main runway.
There is another spot heading down to the cargo area (which is a 5 minute walk from terminal) were you can get planes flying right over your head for 17 which isn’t used very often anyway. If you take the left down a country road (beside the runway lights) there is a fence were you can see arrivals from 25 and also see take-offs.

Well there is a fairly good viewing gallery inside the airport, well signposted from the main arrivals area.
Also there is supposed to be some good spots around the airport, search for Ren Frews thread ‘Im back From Belfast and it was s**t!’ (Not referring to the viewing spos BTW 😀 and there is some shots from various spots in there 🙂
