Hi there,
I recently purchased a Harley Landing Light which supposedly came off a Vulcan Bomber. I know nothing about this other than it looked great and had the actuator still attached. I cannot find any information about this light and was hoping that maybe someone out there can assist me. I would be very interested to know what the lamp and lamp holder would have looked like and if anyone would have a spare? Also is this from a Vulcan? The Harley model number appears to be 11KD/1 and has a serial number 4621 it has a Plessey Jaguar Actuator. The light and actuator have a painted white rectangle, the light reads EO31-33 3-8-60 and the actuator 19462/C SA-500 E15-46-75 16-6-60 which I assume refers to the date last serviced? Any information would be gratefully received. Darren

Excellent many thanks, don’t suppose anyone recognises the type or manufacturer of the lamp and the holder. Mine are missing??

Take a look at our latest entry on the Victor XL231 thread, there’s some shots of our starboard lamp on there.
And a link to that;

I have Chap 27 and Chap 39 which look to be similar Harley Landing Lights but not Chap 29. I can send them if you PM me with an email address .

I don’t have the numbers to hand, but it looks very much like a Vulcan landing light to me. It’s also used on the Victor. I’m sure someone will be along soon with more detail.
