Help needed identifying Anson parts

Hi guys,

A friend of mine went to the crash site of an Anson that went off-course in 1944 and ended-up burning on mount Ste-Cecile in Quebec.

Apparently, there is not much left on the site but he retrieved two parts ans was wondering if the experts here would be able to identify them.

The first unit is the lower part of a Constant Speed Unit (CSU), which was mounted on the front case of the engine behind the propeller. The part pictured also has a chunk of engine casing attached. The CSU is a governor controlling the RPM of the variable pitch propeller according to the setting, by the pilot, of the control, situated with the throttles, in the cockpit.

The third picture seems to show what might be a filter unit. A couple more photos would help pin it down.
