Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me where (on the net) I can find aerial pictures of WW II airfields? I’m looking for pictures/maps of Florennes and Chièvres…
Thanks in advance,
Dimitri

hello,
I know,it is not a Net site but do you have read the excellent Peter Celis’s book “Runways to victory “? It’s about Belgian airfields and Allied Tactical fighters operations 1944-1945 edited by MARHAV publications .
I have that great book, too – bought it from Peter directly – can get you in touch if desired.
Cheers
Martin

How about using Mulitmap.com!
You get a birds eye view. Simply type in the area desired.

I mean: I believe there is a site where you can find aerial pictures of BDA (battle damage assessment), pre- and post-strike pics of airfields and battlefields. An RAF-site perhaps??? Any more info on that?
greetz again,
Dimitri
