Help Needed, Please read!

Hi all,

I am pleading not only for myself, but also on behalf of fellow forumite Buccsociety for some aerial photographs of Staverton (now Gloucester Airport). These are needed for some urgent research. If anyone can help, could you either PM myself or Buccsociety A.S.A.P. Or failing that, post some information on this thread regarding ideas as to where we may seek such photos?

Thank you, Plazz

Help Needed, Please Read

Somewhere in my arcghives I have a photograph taken around 1970 of the old apron area, together with some of Skyfame’s collection taken from a Rapide I was flying. I don’t think copyright will come into play as the photographer who took the picture emigrated to Australia in the early 1970s and the company ceased trading in 1971.
If you are interested I will try to find it.

air photos of Staverton

Contact Skyscan, one of the best aerial photo agencies around, they are very quick and extremely helpful when I have used them. Dont bother with the on line pics ,thats still being developed ,just email them or phone.

Don’t panic, the photos we require are not for reproduction, and absolutely nothing would be done with them without prior consent from the owner.

Thanks for the link.

Barnowl,

The era we are after is as close to present day as possible, but really anything within ten years or so will do.

Consul,

I shall check out the link now, thanks.
