Most likely a long shot, but I am wondering if anyone can help to identify the wreck of a N.A. T-28 Trojan on display at the Savannakhet Provincial Museum in Laos. The T-28 is really just a pair of battered wings, a severely damaged centre section and a badly corroded engine. I have a photo of her, but I haven’t yet received permission to post it here.
The only details I have are some numbers read of the seat and centre section;
From the left side (thigh or foot):
219 73514-A
K1970
JFSSOP
0 2 7 – The 027 was larger and more spread out. The 2 was above the level of the 0 and 7.
In the crotch area:
E# (? not sure about this)
13B510-C (The three could also be a 9; hard to read)
4424
Any help on this would be most appreciated!
Regards,
Jan
