Okay heres the deal. Myself & Mrs Selsport69, child Selsport69 & Infant Selsport69 are looking for the best deal on flights only from Edinburgh- Johannesburg between 19th Dec and returning no later than 7th Jan 2005. I have tried searching the useual places but the prices being quoted are well over £1700. So I thought I would come to this great family and see if someone can find better. You know what they say more heads are better than one. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if I get a good deal and take it the person who comes up with it can expect some aircraft goodies all the way from SA.
Thanks again

That KLM fare sounds very reasonable. Probably won’t get it much cheaper unless an airlines starts a sale etc.
I have tried searching the useual places but the prices
I guess that means you have tried Air France, Lufti, BA, Virgin Atlantic, SAA etc. then? 🙂
Christmas and New Year in SA sounds very nice indeed! 😎 😀

Don’t expect an e-mail reply from an airline!

you might want to give Nationwide Airlines a ring. From november they start flights between Gatwick and Johannesburg. Being a new operator on the route they will probably offer great introductionary fares, but for now their website won’t let you book flights to/from London.

Yep thats for the family. Emirates is over £2500. I dont love the mother n law that much lol.
By: tenthije - 17th August 2004 at 20:28
another question, the prices quoted are they per person or for the whole family? If that’s for the whole family it seems quite a good deal!

I would go for Emirates www.emirates.com i think it would be easier to change aircraft in Dubai and in Heathrow or Gatwick where you would need to change terminals etc
