Hello
I recently got hold of the correct “Harley” landing light for my Westland Scout rebuild project (see photo’s)

Just wondering if any of you out there had a similar landing light going spare?, as although the light head is in good order it is missing the actuator which fitted on the side, which raised and lowered the unit. The model in question is the “Type 6MK4” and although I can find very little information on any Harley landing lights, I imagine that they would have been fitted to other types of aircraft of the 1960’s.
Thanks in advance.
Simon.

Harley Landing Light
Hi Bruce & Simon
The landing light shown by Simon has now been given to us at the Berkshire Museum of Aviation, Thanks again Simon.
what I was wondering was is it possible, Bruce, that you may have a spare bulb holder and bulb that we could have to finish it off. We do not need an actuator as we will leave it hanging down so that it can be seen.
We are also trying to get hold of some panel fastners but they are NOT Camlocs!! they are called KING locks in the Scout Manual and have enclosed recepticals and a “D” shaped end on the fastner bit. I have tried to attach 2 pictures of a panel with them on. I cannot find anyone on the internet that sells them or any info on them.

Yes, I’ve got a load of those – should still have actuators on them.
If I find any, I’ll send them back with Alan Allen tomorrow.
