Help please!!

On March the 24th, I’ll be taking a (well deserved) holiday to Florida! The holiday was one of these late deal things. I’m flying from Manchester to Washington DC. My parents got the tickets through today… and they said we’re flying with Flying Eagles… Who are they? I haven’t got a clue!!!!

RE: Help please!!

Thanks for your help!! I looked on the United Airlines website, and it looks like I’ll be flying British Midland on an A330.

RE: Help please!!

It’s probably the ticketing agent… My parents aren’t very knowledgeable on airlines so there’s probably some confusion somewhere… I’ll find the codes and I’ll tell you!!!

RE: Help please!!

UA code share with bmi on MAN-IAD (A330), and operate 767-300’s from IAD to Miami.

RE: Help please!!

If you are flying to Washington from Manchester then I can almost 100% gaurantee you’ll be flying with bmi British Midland and then transferring to a United Airlines flight (or a United feeder flight) as Washington Dulles is a large United hub (hence why bmi fly there..Star allaince etc). It seems likely to me that flying eagle is just a ticketing agent and that there has been some confusion as to whom you are flying with. Do you know your flight code..that would help.

RE: Help please!!

No, American Eagle is their regional subsiduary, like BA regional. Their biggest aircraft is, I think, the Embraer 145.

RE: Help please!!

Hi,

Probably not much use but I been doing some research. There doesn’t appear to be an airline named Flying Eagle – someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

The closest match was Flying Enterprise and I haven’t a clue where they go to, but you may want to check the tickets and see.
