Help please needed regarding Beaufighter Mk.VI X8225

Hello, this is my first post since coming across this wonderful forum.I wonder if anyone could help me regarding further information on the crash of Beaufighter Mk.VI Serial X8225.I recently purchased a set of medals which belonged allegedly to the W/OP of this aircraft G R Collins – 1427356.But all i can seem to come across is on the following website limited information.Showing the aircraft as crashed at Cadiz, and the two crew as prisoners of war.

Can anyone possibly help me further in my quest, the medals are in my collection so hopefully i can validate the above information as being correct.

Thank you H.

Firstly G R Collins – 1427356 is Gordon Roy Collins

Ross McNeil on RAF Commands says X8225 lost 1944 NOT 1943

That web site quotes

GR Collins – 1427356 – RAF
TB “Keild” – 1368300 – RAF

Ross says actually F/Sgt Thomas Balfour Keillor
