Hi,
I’ve just come up with the idea to look for people that may have flew with or know my grandad when he was a Navigator in WWII. Unfortunately he died in February last year but has kepts all his log books and dog tags and old photo’s. Is there any chance I could find anyone if their alive? Please advise.

What squadron and what time period was he operational?

If you know the number of the unit or squadron he served in,then you could try getting in touch with that squadron’s association.They will usually have a database of past personnel,and present association members.
