Help the Hero's

Hopefully on the 3rd Sept, I will be on the Hoe at Plymouth with my Spitfire Exhibition trailer and (new)Spitfire Mk II, helping to raise money for a ‘Help the Hero’s’ charity event.

If you wish to get involved in any way contact me.

Otherwise if you would like donate any aeronautica for me to sell on the day, like the odd bit,book etc…..feel free.

If you would like to help (Police it) on the day, starts at 13.00hrs, let me know (setting up would start at 10.00hrs) and I guess will run to 20.00hrs.

Your parcel arrived today, it will add to the stall greatly! very much appreciated.

I’ve had a ageing long haired hippy from Bodmin with open toed sandals and his girl friend volunteer to help!

I asked the organisers and I they said if I’m stuck, they’ll supply me with some servicemen.

any bodies off the forum on the day?

The 3rd is a Wednesday so most of the local enthusiasts will be at work, but the military are running the show and I asked the organisers if I could ‘borrow’ a couple of servicemen for the day to help me out.

Anything sent will be appreciated

Just a thought to get more people reading this why not add “Plymouth 3rd September” to the heading. I am surprised that not many have read the thread. I wonder if there is a local ATC unit that could help you with some senior cadets or staff?
