Help to find a post war Wellington pilot casualty

Hi

I am trying to find the name and possibly the grave location of Wellington T10 MF557’s pilot casualty, lost on a flight out of Finningley on 10th November 1947 when both engines cut out on approach.
His two crewmates survived with serious injuries, and i have their names but not the pilot.

My father was in the RAF Regiment at Finningley at the time, and stood guard over the wrecked aircraft as well as later taking the family of a nearby railway crossing house to stay at Finningley, as the aircraft had removed part of their house roof on the way down.

My father, nearing the end of his time now, still recalls the crash and the days events but often laments about not knowing that pilots name.
I would love to be able to trace this man and let my father know his details and resting place.

Does anyone know how i might trace this pilot. Broken Wings and the Google has not provided anything other than the above ?
