Help with pulleys for Comet projects

Hello Mike, I can be at the airfield next friday if you plan to be in the area and would like to pop in to see the latest on the Comet restoration. If you can find any suitable puleys it would be great.

Hello Dai, Yes i had looked but the nimrod ones are far too big. There is an 1.5″ one on there at the moment but at nearly £30 too expensive, but thanks for the suggestion.

I think that is Comet Racer, dairwin, not airliner. I thought so too until I saw Ken had posted it and the penny dropped.

I may have some, Ken. I’ll try and remember to have a look at the weekend. I need to pick up my prop blade from you some time too. Are you about at the airfield/workshop next Friday (1 Mar) morning?

Hello, we are looking for a number (about 10) of control cables pulleys which are 1.5″ diameter, they are not for major flight controls but for the rudder and elevator trim circuits. I have looked in the LAS catalogue but they dont have this size. Does anyone have any in their spares which they can help us with, otherwise we do have a drawing and can get some machined up.

Have you looked on a certain auction website? They often have Nimrod pulleys: 130687384258
