Sixteen destinations in eight countries
With the addition of London and Barcelona , from the end of October 2004 helvetic will be flying to sixteen destinations in eight countries. And half-year figures show that the airline is on the right track: In the first six months of 2004, helvetic flew around 160,000 passengers on 3,700 flights.

Focus on Fokker F-100
The only MD-83 run by helvetic will be discontinued at the end of October. From that moment on, the helvetic fleet will consist of seven Fokker F-100s. By concentrating on a single type of aircraft, helvetic will be able to cut costs significantly, from maintenance to training.
