Apologies if this has been posted before but just came across a little video on youtube which includes some real rarities on film- DH Don, Airspeed Queen Wasp and Fairey P4/34 among others –
Unfortunately watermarked but still very watchable imo.

I have to say that DH’s usual magic with good looks went a bit awry with the Don!
Quite agree – I hadn’t seen the Don with a dorsal turret before but it’s much tidier and streamlined without it. I assume the turreted one was a later variant?
The Albatross is gorgeous though 🙂

Yes, there’s some startling stuff on there – what I’m sure is K5054 for one, plus the Caudron etc. Vimys* dropping parachutes, Hawker Henley…

Surprised to see what would have been “Historic” aircraft at an airshow in a pre-war airshow; Cauldron G-III, Sopwith Triplane etc. And a D.H. Don! There’s a rarity.
