Hendon Restoration?

Greetings All,

I wonder, is there anyone here and about on the forum who might be involved with, or have contact with, the Il-2 restoration project for Hendon which I believe is under the supervision of Gerry Cooper? I would like to contact those involved with this project, and any assistance in that regard would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Roger Smith.

Fairey bomber? is that an elf on steroids? 😀

My first thought was similar to yours.

any news on his plans for a small museum?

The wheels are in motion and the plans have been submitted… I think we should see some progress over the coming months.

Didn’t FlyPast cover the project in a recent edition?

I believe it was at Wickenby – http://www.wickenbyairfield.com/news/
