Hendon visit today

Took the opportunity to visit the RAF museum at Hendon today, my first proper visit for way too long. Had an amazing day and really impressed with the exhibits and the standard of displays, although my basic little point-and-shoot camera was struggling with some of the lighting. But when you see such rare types such as the Bulldog, Belvedere, Defiant, Me-110, JU-88 among many magnificent others then i’m not complaining. And the Grahame White building is just beyond words :applause:

Here’s a selection that caught my eye

It’s an experimental prop for a Grahame-White Type 21 Scout.

See page 102 of this sale catalogue:

Not seen a six-bladed wooden prop before . Any idea what plane it came from?

I can’t quite remember the exact details but it’s, rather appropriately, a Grahame White made prop for something fitted with a Gyro Duplex Model L engine.
