Two totaly different subjects to get the grey matter thinking………..
Am wondering what the Target Tug Mechanism would have looked like on The Vought Chesapeake around 1943 regards FAA machines.
Would it have been a windmill afair attached to the side of the aircraft or a little box under the fuselage.
Answers on a stamp please……………
And can anybody tell me where these American airmen may have come from…..

Just bumping this subject up to the top as I have an intrest in this too.
I have always wondered about the TT mechanism on the Chesapeake too.
