That sounds easy 😮

Yes I have started threads in couple of forums to get enough answers. pprune.org is also one of them.
I’m doing a master’s degree in Innovation Management at Technical University of Hamburg. I don’t have a specific title yet but it is about the perception of quality and importance of different cabin parts/functions and how they change with flying frequency.
For example the seat comfort could be important for non-frequent flyers but it is not as important as luggage space for frequent flyers.

You’d probably be better off posting in the ‘commercial aviation’ section, but there are quite a few of us who work on airliners in various ways – perhaps another ticky box would be appropriate for engineers… 😉

Awesome plane. About time Australia started building
aeroplanes again….
Better and cheaper than the Caravan. 🙂

She is a wonderful little plane and it now has a belly pod available for extra storage. There are plans for a bigger model (GA-10 I have heard talk of) with a turbo prop possibly a PT6/65.

Gippsland GA8 VH-KLN was at the PFA Rally this year – I have a pic somewhere if it would be of interest

Oooo! I know this one!
I’ve a couple of pics taken at Avalon of them.
Also a chap called Steve Death who flies cropdusters by day and Australia’s Spitfire by weekend demoed a G8 Airvan at the Alaska Aviation show. I could be wrong, but I believe he flew it there…
Goes to find pics…. Rummage…

What kind of plane is the GA-8? And does anyone have a picture?
I can’t see the picture above.

AIUI NAC Oxford are now not the vendor and the GA8 is at Cranfield.
GA8 reviews may also appear in other GA magazines Steve! :p 😀

It’s a good bit of kit.
I’ve flown the first GA8 in the UK and it’s a brilliant bit of kit. It flies beautifully and should sell well.

is it just me or does it look like a single engined Islander? 😎

The aeroplane is known as the Gippsland GA-8 Airvan and has recently been awarded FAR23 certification and large orders from the Civil Air Patrol in the USA.
Look out for a complete air test in Today’s Pilot magazine in the next two to three months.

That’s the one, great little plane and now starting to prove itself in the world, orders are streaming in and GA are having to expand just to meet the orders.
Their little factory is now capable of chruning out upto 200 of these little beasts a year, which is far better than when they first started out with only 60 per year.
I can’t wait to see the new versions of this that they are working on, apparently they are planing on a TP version and a 12 seater. Though the latest thing is an under belly storage compartment lik those found on the Caravan II and An-28, this would be a good move since the rear storage compartment is, IMHO, just a little too small.
