I have just come aboard, and after the thread on ‘Memphis Belle’ thought I would try and dig out my photos of the 6 weeks that I spent at Duxford and Binbrook filming.

😀 Thanks a million for those,theres a pub in Cambridge,The Eagle with a signature on the wall from Robert Morgan,and many other airmans signatures written on the ceiling.We go in there after the flying legends at Duxford and raise a glass to all the lost aircrew commemorated. 🙂

awesome shots but the best bit is seeing Bob Morgan and crew at Binbrook – that was a nice touch thanks . So I guess they must have knocked out the kinks in those damaged cowls ?-quite a job . What a summer that was and you were more than fortunate to have witnessed that from such close qaurters !
Good luck to the Ol Sally B – I pay my dues every year even though I havent had chance to see her this year . Its what she represents that keeps me on board .
Look forward to seeing a few more of your shots when you get chance

How do I resize the photos so I can download them for you guys?
If you have Paintshop pro,—-COPY the original photo ,DON’T use the original photo,then go “Image” scroll down to “resize” that then opens a box with various options.
I’m not sure what the sizes are that are allowed on here ,this photo of Janie is 51.8 kb
