Dear friend
In order to enlarge our Glider collection of models in 1/72 scale we would like to add the Hindustan Aircraft G-1.
The G-1 was designed in 1941 and 1942 and was a ten-seat semi-monocoque wooden glider.
We have one photo but we were not able to find the 3 draw views which is necessary to build the model.
I will really appreciate any assitance on this topic.
Many thanks in advance
Kind regards
Santiago

Santiago,
here you can find a pdf file of the book “Diamonds in the sky sixty years of HAL, 1940-2001”http://www.4shared.com/office/F2BUWimq/Diamonds_in_the_sky_sixty_year.htm
But be careful – don’t know if one can trust this link!!!
Martin
I wouldn’t trust it. When you follow the link it says that the download is no longer valid and it’s tempting to use the green button to download the document but that leads to something nasty…

Santiago,
I know we both tried to find info for a while. Seems those books might be the best best – if copies can be found.
Found the following extract too by searching for the designers name – not much but some small details of construction.

Many thanks. Yes, I have them. Thanks anyway.
A friend of mine told me that I should look at the book “Diamonds in the Sky – HAL” since it is the only book about HAL that come out.

Does anyone have it or have access to one copy?.
There is also an Indian Magazine publication called (Vayu aerospace) which may have information about this glider.
Does anyone have hear about it?
Many thanks in advance
Cheers
