I’m looking for some further information on the type and understand there was an article in a PFA Popular Flying magazine a couple (or more)years ago.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to find a copy, or know about other articles on the type?
Many thanks.

One of our chaps used to own one of the UK ones and helped restore it – now busy working on the Beech!

I am the owner of one of the two Pushpaks in England. It was rebuilt in around 1999 (extremely well) and we picked it up in 2005 from Blithfield in Staffordshire. It has the strange characteristic of being harder to take off than to land. Apparantly, the ailerons have what appear to be trim tabs on the trailing edge – they were put there to prevent students in the Indian Air Force rolling the Pushpak! The handling may be described as ‘stately’ and the stall comes at around 25 mph. It has a very good short field performance. If you wish to know any more about the ‘Pushpak’ please let me know and I will be very happy to oblige (if I can).

They were painted, militarized and used as AOPs during the 1965 war.

Thanks Jagan.
Any further information, including stories of their use in India, would be gratefully appreciated!
