With an increase in youtube videos being posted on Historic forum lately,it was decided to have a specific thread as a theatre for aviation videos. Feel free to post your video links here. *note they do not have to be strictly from youtube just as long as they are aviation related.

Excellent in-cockpit and outside views of Lancaster NX611 being run-up at East Kirkby. Includes the manual priming procedure on the port inner, interesting stuff!

Adrian Warburton BBC Timewatch/History Channel
This is probably old news but I hadn’t managed to see it before. The movie is in five segments and this is a link to segment one. The movie maintains that Warbie was downed by flak on his fateful last mission whereas elsewhere there is mention of a downing by an ME 262 pilot. I guess it could have been both as in damaged by ME 262 and finished off by flak battery or vice versa.

The Museum of Flight’s B29 has recently been undergoing some static restoration work, and the team have brought a couple of her gun turrets back into working order. Here’s a clip showing the turrets being operated, including a demonstration of the then state-of-the-art remote sighting and control system.
