I recently acquired an amazing document signed by Geoffrey De Havilland senior. It is a 20 year service certificate (1934 to 1954) and to my delight is signed by the 5 founding fathers of the De Havilland Aircraft Co (1920):
Geoffrey De Havilland, FT Healre, W E Nixon, C C Walker and F St Barbe.
These 5 chaps were also aviation pioneers!!

DH Gazette regularly reported membership to that group – given that’s it’s 1934-1954, I probably have the presentation event on file. Is there a recipient name on it? The attached is the report for June 1954.
