In all honesty, I would love to work on these aeroplanes and I probably meet your requirements regarding experience. I’ve worked historic, ie, 1940s – 50s radial and inline V engines for the last 18 years.
But sadly the location and my family home just would not work. I’ve had enough of working away from home, and my family have settled where we are now, Kids and school you know how it is.
Good luck with the search for guys to work the fleet.

OOOPSS. cant say that anymore, should be guys an girls. Politicaly correct B—–ks. I’m not pc either.

Love to, but running air safety university courses (including historic aircraft by the way) doesn’t leave enough time.

I’d love to, but I haven’t got the experience/quals/licences!

isn’t there anyone out there that wants to work on vintage aircraft?

Sure, just move the outfit across the North Sea and I’ll be your man! 😀

isn’t there anyone out there that wants to work on vintage aircraft?

Yes I do, but Blackbush or White Waltham would be more convenient though 🙂

Yes, but I live in Cambridge and the money in real aviation dont add up to much sadly.
I’ve been honest and answered the question. I hope you do get some enquiries, you have a good fleet, and they need looking after.

I’ve had a limited response to this request so far (just 2 replies), isn’t there anyone out there that wants to work on vintage aircraft?

Regards,

Jon.
