History of Baghdad (Saddam) International

Hi all,
I spent most of this year in Iraq working at Baghdad International on the Air Force side of the field. I was wondering if anybody has any information on the history of the airport in regards to the Iraqi Air Force. There are eight hardened aircraft shelters there, so it’s obvious that there were fighters there at some point. The only ex-Iraqi Air Force aircraft I saw there was an old An-12 and a burned up MiG-21. If anybody has any pre-war pictures, that would be great. Here are a few that I took.
