Ive just read that Hapag Lloyd Express will commence non-stop service from Colonge to Coventry on november 1st with 6 weekly flights using a 737-700.
So a second LCC and second airline flying from Coventry.
Anybody think we could see some more airlines and routes from Coventry apart from Thompson Flys expansion.

if easyJet didn’t have wings, they wouldn’t be flying very far…

easyjet are a big load of wingers. They are always moaning espeically regards the Alitalia situation.

there was a dissagreement over licensing or something to do with the CAA & BRS. I think easyjet complained about something.

If there was a market then why did the route get dropped?
By: Spence_CWL - 27th July 2004 at 22:16
why cant cardiff have some German routes, baby axed munich a while back and since then we’ve had nothing. theres a real market for flights to munich, dusseldorf & berlin from CWL at the moment. the munich route was stopped because of some dissagreement with the CAA regarding BRS’ service to Munich.
