I agree Phil, the SHAR FA2 has the best all round weapons system the UK has operational and where going to loose it, stupid! 🙁

Damn it all I wish they would see sense and retrofit the Blue Vixens to the new Harrier IIs. They would have to pay for system integration but the materials are all in place and ready to make the move. Better still, don’t retire the SHARs until there is a viable replacement. I know. That would be asking far too much.

I thought these were GR7A’s? I wasn’t aware that there were any GR9’s in actual RAF Service yet just at Warton?
