I seem to remember a light aircraft landing there at night, he had engine troubles and had declared a mayday when the moon lit up the runway, saying he’d seen a runway he did a forced landing and getting out found himself surrounded by masts and wires, he’d somehow miraculously missed the lot.. in daylight it was found impossible to fly back out because of all the wires so the aircraft left by road.
