Holiday Time

OK here it is….

Flying on Sunday to Turin for my annual ski trip…flying First Choice again 🙂 and ive been told its an A321 thats taking us….but reading on aviation forums the Stansted based A321 had an encounter with a Ryanair B738 and cause some damage to both planes…..Can anybody tell me if the FCA equipment has been changed or is it still gonna be the A321?

BTW…if you remember last time, i got in a ickle tizz about Airbus doors and them making lots of hissing noise during flight….well my question this time is………:) when i flew them last year, on both legs of the trip there was 3 captains on the “deck”, the lady captain that spoke to us said in her exact words…”You are in very capable hands today, as the flight deck is top heavy with captains” and proceded to read out the names… is this an usual occurance…Is turin a b-tch of a place to get into (didnt seem to be) or an evaluation flight?

on a footnote and slightly sexist…when we boarded the plane last year through the airstairs i noticed the female captain..and quoted “thats doomed it, we all know women cant reverse a car..what chance with a plane” which was swiftly followed up by a smack round the back of the head by my girlfriend (who is a driving instructor)

I work airside at Stansted and saw an FCA A321 land and park up yesterday, so I presume that it must be back in action. Either that or they’ve subbed one in from elsewhere.
