Sad they don’t land the Vulcan at the same location and build one big hangar for the two old ladies.

Ok, I’m already outside and running. Crossing the channel without being caugth and I will be fine.

Nothing about the museum itself, sadly

BBC Breakfast had an article on the opening of the building housing “the last Concorde to fly” going under cover. Interviewing an engineer and pilot. (Morris)…. Sadly all the pilot wanted to talk about was golf….. Usually the BBC’s website adds an article but in this case I can’t find one.

Announced a few years ago: “construction started” maybe?

The double-bay WW1 hangar roofing was completed a few weeks ago and construction of foundations for the Concorde exhibit started around that time. Still no news on the other large WW1 hangar (I still hope it will go to Stow Maries), but the main site around the Bristol Collection’s new museum and Concorde exhibit does at least look secure now that work is starting to be completed.

I think BA are actually a little embarassed by the Heathrow Concorde

Is this the Heathrow one…..any chance of a ‘ferry flight’? 🙂

Edit: No, the one in question is already at Filton. So isn’t the Heathrow one the ‘last’ Concorde?
