Homecoming

We went to france to get a look at the french way of agriculture. I,ll write about the outbound flights as I don,t really remember much about the inbound on

(1) Poitier to stansted FR8475
We woke up bright and early in the hotel and made our way to the airport for our flight ao 2pm french time. For those of you who were never in Poitier airport it is quite a small airport in a remote region in France that is mainly served by Ryanair.Upon reaching the gate we were told that our flight would be delayed until 3pm but turned out to be quite a good experience because the security guards opened up the door so we could have a look out on to the apron and its single runway 3/21. While we were there I saw a fighter jet doing a series of touch and goes along what I thought was a hercules aircraft with a reg of 61-ZN which I caught on the video camera. Soon afterwards our Ryanair 737/800, EI CSI arrived and we took off at about 3.06pm on runway 3. As we passed over London I saw the millenium dome along with London city airport. We decendend further, turned to final and landed on runway 23 in Stansted.

(2) Stansted to Dublin FR225
We raced to reclaim our baggage and we checked in for our flight to Dublin at 5pm. We got a quick bite to eat and we proceeded to gate 58. Boarded the aircraft and at 5.04pm we were lifting off from 23 and climbing to 26000ft. We had a left turn and then the cabin crew began serving snacks and drinks. While they were doing that I purchased a model aircraft. As we approached the Irish coast we hit some minor turbulence and the capitian told us that the weather conditions in Dublin were windy, which you could see from the waves crashing in the sea below us. All to sudden we were decending and after a 55 minute flight we touched down on runway 28 in Dublin.
