The Hornet sucks! How can it even get close to the God like F-14!? The Phoenix gives it a unique unparred fleet defence capability, its air combat weapons systems are Superior to that of the Hornets, the Hornet is a ground attack aircraft. They put so much effort into makeing it cabale of blowing the ground to pieces with HE and guided missiles its air combat capabilities are crap! The F-14 is one of the most feared, and rightly so, inteceptors in the world! The Hornet and F-14’s co-exist happily on the carrier decks now so use the F-14’s for fleet defence and the Hornets for ground attack. Anyone agree or am I just being really opinionated!?
