Hotels at DUB

Bewley’s Airport Hotel is just the other side of the motorway from the airport and is beside the approach path. I was there last week and the airliners were queuing up giving great photo opportunities.

They also have a shuttlebus to the airport starting at four in the morning and every twenty minutes after that. And you can park the car for €7 a day whilst away which is a bargain.

Theres a travelodge close to the airport as well as the Tulip inn, all about a 5mins drive

Its the closest off airport hotel. 10-15mins approx. I think they have a shuttle?

HolidayInn is usually cheapest by the airport but i think it may have changed ownership hands now. There are alot of hotels that claim to be airport hotels and they are definetly not as they are at least 20min drive, worse in rush hour! Great Southern has always been overpriced!

No, altough if you were on a high floor of the Great Southern Hotel you would get some views of aircraft on short finals, depending what runway was in use. If you drive however, there is a viewing area on the old airport road with excellent views of aircraft landing and taking off and also the apron.
