It’s been awhile so here’s a few….
1. This was the first UAL 777 with the new livery I’d seen. I took this picture at ORD about a week ago. I believe that this might have been the first 777 to see the new UAL livery with a second one coming online recently.
2. Ugh, the very ugly Peter Max CO 777 in EWR.
3. Here’s the view out the window yesterday as we decended into Greensville-Spartanburg, North Carolina. The fall color was still visible on the trees but not so in this picture so you’ll have to use your imagination. 😉

Thanks A330Crazy. I had to keep the shutter open about 1/2 second to capture those pictures due to the low light which is why the beacon and strobes are visible. The light is “star-like” due to shooting through the window especially on the NWA 757 as a result of the front windshield heating element.

Stunning shots WD. Managing to catch the strobes on the aircraft is a very nice effect. Well done, and thanks for posting up these beauties. 🙂

Yes, thanks for the tip. I just adjusted the different Levels manually and didn’t think to try adjusting the image curve. I’m still quite a novice when it comes to such features as Image curve but I’m picking up tips here and there. I’ll play around with it as you suggested to get a better feel for its capabilities. Thanks again. PL.

WD, in case you are interested, I realigned the Image curve in Photoshop to extend the contrast and bring out the colours. It should have an even better effect if you apply that to the original picture. The curve I ended up with was higher, both at the top and bottom end, instead of the usual “S” curve that my teacher told me to aim for; an “S” curve doesn’t always work, such as in this case. I hope you understand what I mean!

Thanks PL. I attempted to correct the image and you saw what I came up with. You did a much better job of bringing out the Fall colors.

Hmm.. the order is messed up. Oh well, I think you are all smart enough to fit the caption with the picture. 🙂
Excellent pics! I’ve been to a Greenville-Spartanburg in South Carolina tho’ 🙂
